Job Description:
This position is a 10-week internship program that will start June 3rd through August 9th.
The Mechanical Engineering Department is responsible for the architecture, design, development, engineering test and support of manufacturing lines for SendTech Products Worldwide.
These products comprise of Electro/Mechanical subsystems which perform complicated tasks involving mechanisms, system timing, processing of a large array of materials, and the protection of customers funds in the form of Postage.
Pitney Bowes provides products that yield high customer value and has continued to grow and innovate for over one hundred years.
While working in a team environment, Interns can gain a large amount of exposure to electro-mechanical and systems-based equipment.
At Pitney Bowes, Engineers are involved in the whole development process from concept all the way into customer offices.
This will be an on-site opportunity at our Shelton Connecticut facility.
The wage range for this position is $18 to $25, dependent on skills and experience.
Job Tasks:
Part design Documentation Part fabrication Inspection of components Test rig setup Test Data analysis and summary Direct input into design development Design reviews Concept build System debug Root cause failure analysis Interfacing and implementing input from outside teams such as service and manufacturing
Qualifications:
Exposure to 3D Modeling (preferably Creo) Familiarity with Part/Assembly design and documentation (a plus) Proficient in MS products like Word and Excel Data acquisition/analysis and capable of summarizing results Root cause analysis of design issues Good debug and test skills We will:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
