The candidate will provide counsel and advice to various internal business units and senior management as well as to other members of the Law department. Will also have management and development responsibilities for a team of attorneys and non-attorneys. Provide management, support and develop a high-performing legal team in multiple locations. Provide legal and regulatory advice and counsel, and strategic support to Prudential as an issuer and distributor of insurance and annuity products, and in the ongoing administration and management of the business. Represent and counseling Prudential Annuities, and related business units, before Federal and State Regulators, and Self-Regulatory Organizations. Coordinate with the compliance and risk management departments to provide legal analysis and counsel in connection with the creation, marketing and distribution of annuity products, and related products. Keep senior management and other personnel up-to-date on pertinent legal and regulatory developments. Perform special projects as assigned.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
