CPQ Solutions Architect Connecticut
CPQ Solutions Architect will do Functional Applications and professional designs, implement and deploy packaged software solutions to optimize a particular business processes or management function.
Responsibilities:
Configure, implement and perform solution architecture of Sterling Configure, Price & Quote (CPQ) solution, also, adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Candidates with experience as solution architect on other CPQ/CRM solutions or a rule engine based application will be considered as well, and understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.
May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within the Company but Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within the Company.
Qualifications:
Experience in B2C and B2B online e-commerce systems architecture and design
Minimum 5 years experience as a team member of successful software project implementations related to SAAS, CRM, or ERP
Completion of several CRM integration and extension projects in development and lead functional/technical roles
Experience in Pricing, CPQ, and Order Management domain
Experience in Enterprise Integration tools, ETL and Web Application Development
Bachelor's Degree
Strong analytic and problem solving skills
Strong understanding of software development methodologies
Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional and cross-vendor team environment
Requirements:
5
years of experience with major Quote and Product Configurators .
Experience working on IBM Sterling CPQ product suite is required.
Knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus.
Hands-on on Object oriented programming, Java, JavaScript, Webservices and XML is a required.
Strong desire to build high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems
Be highly innovative, flexible and self-directed
Excellent leadership and management skills
Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Desire to work in an information systems environment
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
