PDS Tech is seeking a Senior Trade Operations Specialist for an open position.
Global Operations Finance (GOF) is a unique and exciting Corporate shared service operation in over 80 countries globally. Our customers are exclusively businesses and are served through several distinct product lines including employee services, travel, expense processing, and general accounting.
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
As the project analyst you will work directly with GOF Biller project team to support the system deployment and the project planning process. You will work 'hands-on' with the new system as well as contribute to the strategic planning for the next phase(s) of the project.
Specific responsibilities include:
Collaborating with Project Leader and Operational team to identify functionality enhancements of current system and plan next phases
Create timelines and tracking tools
Coordinate new releases with IT team
Support testing of new functionality
Assist in preparing regular communications to GOF Teams, management, etc
Operationalizing new functionality and processes
Identifying process improvements in the HQ and GOF center billing processes
Providing functional support around GOF Biller
Preparing process maps and training documentation
Qualifications/Requirements:
4 year college degree or equivalent experience in finance, IT or program/project management
5 years of experience in a finance function collaborating with IT; knowledge of finance processes and ability to analyze data, structures, and relationship
Demonstrated ability to multi-task, perform in a fast-paced team environment and respond quickly to situational needs as they arise
Fast learner - able to quickly assimilate new functions, structures and dynamics; Ability to work under pressure; deliver quality results on time
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Strong attention to detail; experience with data analytics
Self starter with a commitment to delivering on deadlines
Strong PC skills
Basic accounting knowledge
