You will work cross functionally with other supply chain groups within a challenging environment helping to deliver the strategy of the business. This role provides the opportunity to lead the deployment of North and South America both tactically and strategically utilizing all modes of transportation and across all categories. This cross-functional position allows you to gain a true end-to-end view of the entire Supply Chain. Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Support, develop, and coach a team of 8-10 members and conduct all performance appraisals, attendance, vacation, recruitment etc.
- Coach specialists to develop and distribute analysis and KPIs across the organization and providing training to the analysts
- Develop continuous improvement culture and improve ways of working with internal customers
- Lead the deployment process including deployment replenishment process, dispatch rate and stock transfer order on time improvements to ensure that the team is meeting the needs of the entire Supply Chain and our Customers
- Interact with related internal departments and external partners (i.e. Supply And Demand Planning, Transportation, Factory Transportation Team, Customer Care Team, Warehousing, Manufacturing Plants, Copackers, Customer Service, and Capabilities to name a few) to achieve business and customer service goals
- Manage batch job processes by monitoring daily activities and working with IT, BPD, and appropriate functional areas for identification and resolution as needed
- Manage the flow of internal work to ensure coverage and properly serve the needs of the internal/external customers
- Support holiday coverage and scheduling
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, advanced with minimum of 4 years in logistics, planning or manufacturing operations or preferred relatable experience. Microsoft Excel and Power Point. Results-oriented, innovative thinker with a focus on continuous improvement Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and the ability to function effectively as part of a team to gain cooperation of individuals across the organization. Ability to work in a challenging business environment, to demonstrate flexibility by managing numerous priorities concurrently and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
