Position Summary

Develops, implements and evaluates marketing activities to meet profit and sales objectives for a brand. Responsible building strong brands, overall coordination, including setting the direction, executing programs and leading daily activities for a brand


Accountabilities

Business Fundamentals:



  • Provides strategic rationale for spending and reallocation recommendations

  • Accountable for ensuring brand budget is within P&L parameters

  • Effectively manages brand through monthly Pre -S&OP process

  • Can effectively communicate key issues impacting brand volume performance and identify potential solutions

  • Has deep understanding of brand P&L and meet with finance quarterly


Business Analytics



  • Regularly has ability to leverage insights to business implications based on existing research

  • Identifies analysis opportunities for the brand

  • Skilled at analyzing complex data to develop Key Learning's and implications for brand

  • Establishes aggressive yet achievable Brand Health metrics goals

  • Identify and apply key consumer insights to support business opportunities

  • Able to conduct comprehensive competitive analysis utilizing appropriate strategic framework

  • Able to anticipate competitive response to brand actions

  • Develops hypothesis in advance of data collection/analysis

  • Succinctly translates data into underlying conclusions/implications/recommendations

  • Has experience in advanced analytics such as Marketing Mix, Price Elasticity, Bases volumetric, Equity Tracking

  • Able to lead development of CAR/CER for product line extension/restage

  • Identifies opportunities to apply prior research/knowledge to support existing and new brands.

  • Recommends programs and share findings with other regions/brands

Strategic Planning



  • Leads the ABP process. Specific skills include work plan management, developing accurate analyses, leading agency partners, and P&L development

  • Has an ability to develop an innovation road map including converting key consumer insights into product opportunities, developing financial revenue/capital projections

  • Leads execution of multiple marketing programs as part of ABP


Brand Development (Consumer Communication)



  • Able to write product concepts and positioning statements; exhibits ability to guide team to develop concepts/ positioning statements

  • Initiates marketing claims development process with R&D and agency partners for products or brands

  • Develops and implements programs from start to finish including the establishment and evaluation of metrics

  • Leads others to develop and execute programs

  • Leads promotional or major packaging graphics projects including overseeing timeline to deliver on- shelf execution date

  • Leads advertising development from briefs to overseeing consumer research to validate advertising

  • Leads advertising production in conjunction with agency to deliver timetable and budget

  • Key contact with agencies for a brand

Required Skills and Experience

  • B.A/B.S. Degree

  • Minimum 5-9 years' experience in consumer packaged goods marketing

  • Proven leadership and strategic abilities

  • Must be a decisive, action oriented individual with experience leading others

  • Proven ability to communicate cross functionally

  • Must have excellent written and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively on teams

  • Must demonstrate mastery of marketing techniques

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
