Position SummaryManaging & executing the strategic vision for national, category and shopper strategies that translates into actionable solutions to increase sales for the category and our brands in-store and online.
Accountabilitiesa. Be the expert on category, shopper, and consumer insights for assigned category, educating the customer in order to influence the implementation of category and shopper solutions
b. Provide input into the development of category management strategic initiatives, such as the national merchandising and assortment strategy, and execute them for assigned line of business and customers
c. Effectively penetrate the customer to build rapport at all levels and to fully understand the customer, their business, and the marketplace
d. Conduct category & business reviews as needed with the customer to affect positive business growth.
e. Support the sales team in achieving authorization for priority items and meeting distribution and placement goals with assigned customer
f. Support the development of category focused educational reference materials such as Category 101's, Category Review Templates, etc.
g. Development and manage line of business performance reports to track new items, price changes, ad activity, etc.
h. Demonstrate category expertise & thought leadership via participation in key customer meetings
i. Manage utilization of panel & spectra tools for the line of business cross functional teams
j. Responsible for leveraging available data to make POG recommendations that support the growth of the category and our brands
k. Lead annual customer POG change analysis, reporting out and tracking key metrics to broader organization
Required Skills and Experiencea. Background/Experience/Education required:
- 5
years' experience in category management positions in Consumer Packaged Goods. Additional experience in shopper insights, shopper marketing, sales or marketing are considered a plus
- Experience in management & execution of category business strategies
- 4 Year College Degree Required

- Expertise and application of Category Management best practices
- Management & execution of shopper based solution strategies
- Excellent analytical and communications skills
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Proficient with Nielsen/IRI syndicated data usage and understanding
- Ability to understand and analyze household panel and Spectra data
- Experience with JDA space planning software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Knowledge and application of standard research methodologies considered a plus

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
