Position SummaryThe Director Category Development Activation is responsible for leading the Category Development Activation team. The position develops, implements, and manages the category vision and strategies that drive sales and profitability for both EPC and its Customers. The position will also lead and develop a geographically-dispersed Activation team toward a competitive advantage for EPC.
AccountabilitiesCreate an EPC Category Development Activation Center of Excellence
Define Category Development Activation vision, strategies, and processes that strengthen capabilities behind best-in-class principles to create a unique EPC competitive advantage.
Identify and implement best tools for EPC to fulfill its vision.
Identify and leverage Third-Party agency capabilities in delivering EPC's long-term Category Development vision and strategies.
Create and maintain practices to support the communication of strategies and tactics both internally and with key retail partners.
Lead and develop the Category Development Activation team
Identify, create, and implement leadership programs and practices that support EPC's quest for a unique competitive advantage.
Hire, train, develop and lead assigned direct personnel to achieve company goals and long-term skill development, including alignment with necessary tools.
Work with individuals to ensure full alignment of the Field-based team with EPC's vision, strategies, and plans, including adaptability to leading a geographically-dispersed team.
Leverage Shopper and Consumer insights to drive Category and Consumer based solutions that maximize sales and profitability for our key retail partners and EPC
Lead team in both analyzing and synthesizing information to ensure unique solutions are recommended to and implemented by our customers.
Drive focus on shelf optimization and improving the in-store experience.
Support Channel/Customer and Line Of Business Annual Business Plans
Lead process to support the Channel/Customer and LOB annual business plans.
Develop analytical and shopper insights that support annual plan attainment.
Own the development, implementation and reporting of annual business plan category development goals and objectives.
Drive accountability for marketplace results.
Preferred Skills and Experience Experience with creating and achieving visions.
Ability to lead and develop a geographically-dispersed team toward competitive advantage.
Ability to synthesize information into insights, leveraging those insights into marketplace results.
Required travel of up to 50%.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
